About Me
Long before Studio Zen existed, a little gnome lived quietly inside this old building. He'd watched people come and go and the building change around him. He'd seen it full of life, he'd seen it sit quiet, and he'd seen it become a place of confinement. Then came Studio Zen. The old building began to change again. People came through the doors for yoga and meditation, massage and books, conversation and rest. A place once built around confinement became a place people came to feel a little more free. And somewhere in this newest chapter, our little gnome became Zennie. These days, you'll find him somewhere around Studio Zen. He might be in the salt room, tucked beside a stack of books, hiding among the plants or sitting somewhere you've walked past a hundred times before. But Zennie is a bit of a wanderer. Sometimes he ventures beyond the studio. He might visit one of our neighbors around Anderson, tag along on a road trip, cross a state line, see an ocean or someday find himself clear across the world. Every place Zennie goes becomes part of his story. And we're just beginning to find out where that story will take him.
