New Feature: Location History

Location History

One of the most exciting aspects of Last Gnome Location is the ability to see each gnome’s complete travel record. With our new Location History feature, every movement of a gnome is recorded and displayed in a clear, chronological format.

Why Location History Matters

When you find a gnome out in the wild—whether it’s perched on a park bench, tucked beside a hiking trail, or hidden near a local landmark—you’re not just discovering a figurine. You’re uncovering a story. Each entry in the Location History tells you something about where that gnome has been and who moved it there, creating an evolving narrative defined by the community.

How It Works

  1. Find a Gnome: When you tap the gnome’s NFC tag or navigate to its page, scroll down to the Location History section.
  2. Chronological Records: Each entry shows who placed or moved the gnome, along with the exact date and time. The oldest entries appear first, building up to the gnome’s current position.
  3. Visual Trail: Above the Location History, you’ll also see a map that highlights the gnome’s journey. Over time, you can watch it hop from one spot to another, turning ordinary landscapes into a personal travel log for this tiny adventurer.

Building a Community Story

Your decision to move a gnome and record its new location adds another piece to its puzzle. By contributing, you’re not just playing a game—you’re adding your voice to a larger community story. Each time a gnome travels, it fosters a sense of exploration, curiosity, and collaboration among fellow adventurers.

Get Involved

Want to leave your mark? The next time you find a gnome, update its location. Add a comment to explain why you chose that particular spot—maybe it’s a scenic overlook, a hidden garden, or a quiet corner of town. Over time, these entries form a living history, documenting every twist and turn of each gnome’s journey.

Explore, record, and share your own chapter in the world of Last Gnome Location. Together, we’re shaping a map of stories, one gnome at a time.
