Inside this kit is your very own gnome ready to be brought to life with your imagination, your colors, and your style. There's no wrong way to paint a gnome, so let your brush wander and make it truly yours.

Step 1: Paint It!

Grab your paints and brushes, and give your gnome some personality.

Pro tip: If you want to put your gnome outside, let the paint dry completely and then give it a coat of UV-resistant clear spray paint to protect it from the sun.

Step 2: Tap to Begin!

Once your gnome is painted and dry, it's time to bring them to life in the Last Gnome Location app: Make sure NFC is enabled in your phone settings.

Tap your phone to the bottom of the gnome (where the magic is hidden).

iPhone: Tap the bottom of the gnome against the top edge of your phone at a 45° angle.
Android: Tap the bottom of the gnome to the center back of your phone.

A link will pop up—tap it to open your gnome's page.

Step 3: Give Them a Story!

Create an account or log in. Add your gnome's name, backstory, and a photo of your newly painted friend. Once you finish setup, their story is locked in permanently, just like a true gnome legend.

Now your gnome is ready to roam the world, carrying your colors, creativity, and their own brand-new identity.
